Implementing New Year resolutions

Allocate resources and then just do it

We have already talked about how you can set your New Year resolutions, and more specifically, how you need to do a few things just for yourself, no matter how many goals you set for that specific year. In this article, I would like to talk about how you can schedule time and resources for important projects each year.
  Get organized. Have you ever wondered that when the year ends, you realize that you did not achieve anything meaningful? The problem was that you were simply not organized. So be organized about your time, and also keep your home and office in an organized manner. Make a list of the things that you would like to organize and develop a schedule. You can do it little by little every week or dedicate one full weekend to get organized but you have to start small. For instance, if you start by organizing your home office and then move on to organizing your finances, you will see that a lot will get done.

Plan for having fun.  Most people would jump on this one but the reality is that many of us simply do not plan our vacations. As a result, we can’t go to places that we want or end up paying a lot more. However, if you plan your trips early enough, you can stay in hotels that you like, watch the entertainment shows that you want, and you will also pay a lot less. Therefore, sit down with your family members and draw a list of trips you will make each year. Then make it a point to visit the websites of airlines/hotels/ rental car companies and place orders when you get a good deal.

Whether you own a home or rent it, there are always things that you need to do in order to live comfortably and in style. Depending on where you live, you will also need to do things every season. Be realistic in what you can accomplish and be creative in how you can get help. Prioritize and then make a tentative calendar. Just make it happen. 

Personal health and fitness. If you are committed to it, try to make one change each year even if you are in perfect health. You can always eat healthier and exercise more effectively. You won’t enjoy your year if you are not in good health.  (Related:  How to achieve your weight loss goals)

Share your love. If you already have a family/spouse, plan how you will spend more quality time together. If you are single, you really need to put an action plan together to find a relationship.
