How to overcome fears and anxiety?
You can do it by using simple steps

Summary:  Fear (and the anxiety that is both a cause and a result of fear) can have disastrous consequences on our life.  But can be managed, if not eliminated altogether.  When you control your fears, you can literally conquer the world because history has shown that only the fearless and the bold rule the world.  Others simply perish.

Photo of a fearful womanFear is a negative emotion in life, and if not dealt with, it will destroy you. For us to grow into mature people we ought to cross certain bridges, and in this case, the bridge is fear. The New Collins Compact English dictionary defines fear as the “dread, alarm, anxiety, unpleasant emotion caused by coming evil or danger”. I would like to add here that, that danger may just be a shadow or non existent. It can be an image of the past coming into your mind to block your vision. Fear makes you see things very differently, and it can magnify or deceive you into poor judgment. Fear is a terrible thing as it gains control of your life and tells you what to do and chances are it will be wrong. It is also another negative emotion like anger. Both emotions are such that in that state you should not make any important decisions. Whether male or female, young or old, strong or weak, we all have our fears. Fear is so powerful that it takes many forms and faces. Take a look at the list.  Fear is:

To do your medical checkup To leave the house
Of the unknown Produces inferiority complex
To get married To go outside when it’s dark
To live alone Of the graveyard
To rewrite you exams because you failed the last time To start a business
Of death To eat because you keep thinking of obesity/diets
To try again after a bad experience To ask for help
To take a risk (for a good cause) To love again
Of war To sleep with the lights switched off
To take a long distance journey To drive after surviving a car crash
To fly in a plane To leave your parents’ house when you are an adult
To go back to school because you are 50 years and your classmates are in the 20-25 age groups To leave an abusive relationship
To speak the truth because you might be in danger  Risk losing a friend

When you are in danger, fear can make you so anxious and tell you to panic and you end up making a mistake that could be fatal to your life. People who are victims of being shot by thieves usually panic. You see when someone is stealing his/her conscience tells them its wrong; hence, the reason they are usually panicky, anxious and want to do it as quickly as possible. So if you are caught in such a situation and you decide to panic it’s a recipe for disaster. When you calm down you will be able to reason and find a way of escape.
