How
to have a great romantic party with your partner

Halloween
is a great time to have a wild party but it is not always
the case that people want to have a million people come over
to their house. Liz in Amarillo, Texas, asked me,
"I got married in August and while I would love to do
something fun on Halloween I just want to be with my
husband. How can we feel that we had a Halloween party
but also enjoy a romantic evening?" To answer her
question, I will simply let Gillian tell her story of a
Halloween party which I helped her organize about a year
ago. Halloween is coming. But he is his usual self. As always, he does not want me to make a big deal. Despite his casual attitude, I know it is a special day for him and I want to make it extra special for him this time. For such a long time, my relationship with him is not going well. We have hardly had any real intimacy. If that was not enough, he has not paid any attention to me lately. But I'm quite an independent person and believe I deserve a lot more attention and intimacy than he gives me! However, I'm willing to try and work towards a solution. I don't give up easily and this Halloween I want to do something that will blow his mind away. Well, if this doesn't work then I can walk away knowing I did try and gave it my best shot.

The
night before Halloween, I took out my short tartan skirt,
black shirt, red lace push-up
bra,
white socks and black patent leather baby doll shoes and hid everything in the closet. I wished him good morning with a big
kiss and as we got ready to go to work, I casually said, “I was speaking to my friend Mary and she mentioned that Antonio’s Restaurant has great seafood. So I made a reservation for 7 PM. Why don’t we meet at the restaurant after work?” I think my kisses and smile did the trick. Even though he did not want to do anything big, he agreed knowing that I had already made reservations.

The meal was excellent. Mary was right about the cuisine, which he enjoyed too. And he did not miss the pleasant demeanor that I had. After several glasses of wine
(Which
wine should I buy?), he looked pretty relaxed and warmed up to me. I told him not to order dessert since I had made something for him at home.

As we drove home, I told him that a few romantic things: that I valued our
relationship, that we could do better by
communicating more often and
directly, and that I was committed to making him happy.
When we walked into the house, it was not too late; just a bit after 9 PM. Normally he would have rushed to the study to surf the Net but I suggested that he prepare the fireplace instead. I told him that it would be great to eat the dessert in front of the fireplace. “Let me change in the meantime upstairs. I hate these
formal office
clothes. They are so uncomfortable,” I complained. “Take your time, Sweetie. By the time you come down, the fire should be ready,” he replied.
I rushed to my
hidden closet and quickly got out of my clothes. As I put on my uniform, I realized that I did really look like a
schoolgirl. My
short skirt showed my fully-developed legs and the bra pushed me up giving me a great look. The
red bra clearly was visible through the black shirt and over the years as I had developed more completely, it fit me snugly. Hmmm…. Not very different from all those movie stars that he watches every night, I thought. Well tonight he was going to meet one in real life, I told myself.
For a few moments, I closed my eyes and recalled those days when I was a teenager and would feel so attractive all the time as literally half the guys in my class would chase me. When I opened my eyes, I saw in the mirror that I was smiling – the same naughty smile that I was known for in school.
