I found it quite interesting reading your article "It is not always easy to meet Japanese women." I agree with much of what was said there but have a little different approach. I have found that the more interest you show in their culture, customs and lifestyle, as well as not expecting a relationship out of it, you have a lot better chance. It also helps if you have similar interests, otherwise, they may get bored as you have nothing interesting or new to offer them. This isn't a sure fire method but has worked for me. The less expectations people have, the better off they are going to be in the long run. It also helps knowing how the dating scene works there as well. I did a lot of research before my venture there and it was to my advantage. Nothing impresses Japanese women more than when you know as much about their country and culture as they do. At least this was the case in my experience. What might look to some as a cold shoulder in fact is just the opposite if you know how to read the signs.

I would also like to make a strong suggestion that if people are having trouble in one area to try another. Tokyo is a very liberal city, much like any other major city in the world. If you have the opportunity I would travel around the countryside. This isn't an option for many I know but I personally had much better luck this way. I traveled to Nagano, Japan and was quite surprised at how different the women seemed to be there. While I do understand the frustrations people have about meeting Japanese women, I wouldn't base my opinion on just one experience. No one said that finding the perfect girl was easy. It is no different in Japan and while it took me some time and a lot of homework, it paid off for me in the end. This isn't a fail safe method, but might be worth a try if all else fails.
