Rahim
writes, "Why am I always unlucky in love?"
Looks
like you are like me in believing in luck (I was
actually surprised that in one interview even Bill
Gates
admitted that luck played the most important role in his
success), but there is something else I believe: we
can change
our luck. Somebody said "The harder I work, the
luckier I get" is so true. I have seen it work every
single time with me, my family/friends, and people who
write to me.
And also remember that people who
fail at something are those that tried something.
How can you fail if you never try? And if you try your
hand at 100 things, you
will succeed at some of them. So if you have not
been able to be with the person that you like, well, it
is just that if you try even harder with this person or
with more people, eventually, you will get lucky and be
with someone that you love and who loves you back.
So my friend, go out there and change your luck by
working harder, rather than giving up because you think
that you are unlucky. I do not wish to criticize your
religious beliefs but I believe that
there is no central authority (what some call as
God) distributing good and bad luck or that there
lucky and unlucky people. There are only people who work
hard and who don't (and blame their misfortune on
whoever they can find). |
