Summary:  Below are simple tips for excellent health by following a Mediterranean diet; in other words, it is the food that is eaten in European countries bordering the Mediterranean, like Spain, Italy, Morocco, and France.

A study published in the journal Circulation: Cardiovascular Quality and Outcomes finds that eating a Mediterranean-style diet can keep men's (while the study was done only on men, I tend to believe that following this diet should help women too) hearts beating effectively, aiding in the prevention of a host of diseases and also diminishes depression, cancer, heart disease, strokes, brain damage and premature death risks.
