Dr. Luan
Brizendine, author of The Female Mind, says that the area in a
man's brain responsible for those dirty thoughts is twice as
big that in the female brains. No wonder then that men are
thinking about getting it almost every single minute. This
naturally creates many problems including
adultery,
breakups, and
divorces.
That is
where author Wade Young's book "My Brain Doesn’t Cheat on My
Wife" is helpful since it gives
married guys concrete techniques for kicking the bad
habit. Wade observes, "I’ve spent my whole life being around
guys who educate themselves, work hard,
love their wives and families, and then screw the whole
thing up because they have a brain that’s still living the
single life."

Wade openly admits
that "A little over ten years ago, I got married. I quickly
realized that just because I was wearing my
wedding ring didn’t mean my brain was wearing his." Wade
goes on to explain how managing his thought life became a
pivotal point in his life. "I knew I couldn’t screw up
physically without first letting my mind run amuck. If I could
control what I allowed my brain to sauté in, I didn’t have to
worry about becoming one of those overly tanned
single
guys hitting on younger women later in life."
Why the
humorous biographical tone of the book rather than the
typical format of most self-help
and marriage books? Wade says, "I challenge you to
remember any list of ‘Five steps to this or that’ you’ve
come across in a book? If you can’t even remember the
Ten Commandments, how are you ever going to remember any
list I give you? I remember good stories—so I’ve filled
this book with tons of stories about the dumb things I
did as a former mental horn dog. Fortunately, my success
stories are here too."

Wade
made a gutsy move by
coming clean to his wife about his mental liaisons:
"I’m no idiot. I waited until I had my thoughts under
control to let my wife know that I had spent a great
deal of time and effort keeping a mental shock collar on
my brain." The whole mental
infidelity thing caught her by surprise. Wade says,
"She just couldn’t relate to seeing fabulous body parts
walking down the street and having your whole mental
world turned upside down. "Once she got it she was
adamant that I should share my story with others."
The stories in the
book are hilarious, yet the information is practical for both
men
and women. Most women have no idea what really goes on inside
the average man-brain, but they should. This book busts guys
on the way they think.
The book is
about becoming a better man and achieving
mental monogamy. According to Wade, "Real men look
out for their
wives. You aren’t a real man just because you’ve kept your
zipper up. Get rid of the
illicit
thoughts and start living guilt-free. You’ll never regret
evicting the
Lust Babes from your brain."
