How to deal with less corrupt Indians?
There is a lot of hype about India as the place to be but to make money or to get cheap healthcare. However, the country has recently improved its competitiveness and has also lowered the prevalence of corruption.
So how to do business in India?
My experience shows that be prepared to bribe (though you must understand that laws in certain countries make it illegal to do so - for instance, for us here in the US, it is illegal to bribe anywhere in the world) almost anyone from whom you need help, particularly if they work for any kind of bureaucracy. While you may be able to get certain things done without bribing, but then, be prepared for long delays and frustrations.
