Maybe these people had no idea about the depth of talent at the company and its determination to succeed in "whatever" search. What idiot would cheat on Nicole Kidman? Well, it is her very own husband, Keith Urban, who apart from being addicted to drugs and alcohol is also addicted to women. A woman by the name of Amanda Wyatt who claims to be a model (she is no supermodel; she is one of those models that take their clothes off occasionally to claim that they are a lingerie model but in reality need to work as a bartender of waitress to pay the bills) is saying in an interview with the Daily Mail that right up to the day Keith Urban got married to Nicole, they were in this sex-only relationship. And from the description provided by her, it seems that Keith is not only a drug addict, he is also quite a pervert.

Research conducted by me yielded little information about Amanda Wyatt, except some work she has done for country music singer Johnny Rodes on his song "Tiny Read Thong," though there are very few pictures of her available. There is no doubt that she is a pretty, southern blonde. It seems that what started as a one-night stand turned into a long-term relationship. He picked her up in a Nashville bar (Tin Roof) after she approached him as a fan. They were often seen in public and the relationship continued without any pressure from Amanda for commitment - all they did was to do drugs and make love in his luxurious home (I saw some similarities with the St Regis resort), which was a big deal for poor Amanda who shares a modest apartment with a roommate.

Now comes the news that Christina Aguilera is turned on more by women than men. I feel bad for her husband Jordan Bratman, who seems like such a gentleman.

The new Casino Royale movie has become the top James Bond movie ever. Doesn't surprise me at all since Daniel Craig is hot. I also hope that it will silence many of his early critics who thought that he wasn't the right man for the job. From what I can recall the older version of Casino Royale didn't do so well but it was still successful.

Did you get an iPod for Christmas?

I wanted to give an iPod Nano to my wife as a gift. When I went to Walmart, it was sold out. Wow, how could that be. Shouldn't they have stocked enough for the holidays. Then I went to BJ's. And luckily they had it - though not many. I arrived just in time. I also was able to pick her favorite color: lime green. It's no surprise then that the Apple website is so slow. I am sure people are eager to sign up.

While I am opposed to death penalty in principle (I think life in prison is a much more severe punishment especially with a television in the cell - you suffer every single day realizing how you are missing out) , it is time for Saddam to go. Wonders of olive oil

New research shows that olive oil may hinder progress of cancer. I actually use only olive oil for almost all cooking, except butter in rare cases, for example, my oatmeal breakfast each morning.

I learned about the benefits of olive oil a few years ago. There is another study that says that olive oil may also act as a painkiller. And believe it or not, when my scalp gets extremely dry during winter, I rub a little and then shampoo after about an hour. It does wonders.

Christmas eve music report

Wow, I was treated to some great music by a capella vocal harmony band Tonic Sol-fa. I hope that guys stay true to their capella roots since they are so talented at what they do. Adding musical instruments will simply dilute their distinction. Thank you RI PBS for the show.

Prior to that I watched the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and they are simply the best. Particularly I was thrilled to listen to Renee Fleming.

Lynne Cheney excited about lesbian daugther pregnancy

Now that the Cheney family has become so important that it is featured in a Nativity scene, the day is not far off when we will declare them as saints. But that will come as a surprise to homophobic evangelical Christians who supported the family for so long but now they are shocked to find that the family not only has homosexuals, there is a big support for her.

It all started with President Bush showing support for lesbian mother Mary Cheney. Of course, he was given the great news to him by Vice President Dick Cheney. So the only person who had not spoken on the issue was grandma Lynne Cheney.

Well, in yet another blow to Bible-thumpers and Jesus freaks, she says that "Dick and I both very much looking forward to this new baby." She told Fox, "Well, I think that it's just very lucky for me that I enjoy being a grandmother and I get to do it for the sixth time."

Americans are not virgins on wedding day

According to a study by Guttmacher Institute, almost all Americans have had sex before they get married. This is true not just for Gen-X or Gen-Y or even baby boomers; it is actually the case for even much older Americans.

So why do we make such a big deal about virginity pledges and abstinence-only sex education? It seems that Americans live two lives: one for the world (in which they claim to believe in virginity, devotion to Jesus Christ, homophobia, etc.) and one for themselves (full of divorce, gay sex, etc.).

It will be nice that we just did not have to juggle the two!

Eli Lilly lied about Zyprexa dangers

The Times has even more on the lies that Eli Lilly told us about Zyprexa. The paper has found that the company continued to tell doctors something entirely different (mostly how good Zyprexa was) when it has data that said the opposite.

"The original results showed that patients on Zyprexa, Lilly’s pill for schizophrenia, were 3.5 times as likely to experience high blood sugar levels as those taking a placebo, according to a February 2000 memo sent to top Lilly scientists," the paper reports. What did the doctors say here? "Only slightly more likely."

Another Lilly report, the Times reports, from November 1999, shows that Lilly found after examining 70 clinical trials that 16 percent of patients taking Zyprexa for a year gained more than 66 pounds. The company did not publicly disclose that figure, instead focusing on data from a smaller group of clinical trials that showed about 30 percent of patients gained 22 pounds.

Toyota is expected to surpass General Motors and become the world's largest automaker. I am not surprised at all here. Experts have been talking about the superiority of Japanese and Korean automakers for years and how American car companies have simply bitched about their high health insurance costs and union.

I think it is much better to do something than to just whine.

Many years ago, I went to a birthday party of my friend. It was an intimate gathering with just a few guests and almost all of them arrived an hour later than we were there. My friend's wife is a voluptous woman who was wearing a black sheer blouse but with a black lace camisole underneath. I would say a pretty outfit but nothing sexy. In fact I didn't even notice it much, until the strap fell down her shoulder and her chest was there for me to view. I don't think she even realized but for a moment it was one of those situations where you want to see but are afraid to be caught.

A Japanese reporter recently was in a situation like mine while interviewing Kate Beckinsale. She was also wearing a very sheer blouse, and she said in an interview that without her realizing she ended up flashing him. "I think I really scared him. He was fumbling around and couldn't get his tape recorder to work."

No big surprise here but the family of Leonel Garza, who died after taking Vioxx, will receive $7.75 million rather than $32 million awarded by the jury. Apparently the people of Texas think that companies are more important than their own people and they have put limits on what state residents can receive - by the way Texans also refuse to do business with gays.

You would think that Merck would happily agree to what appears to be such a small amount. Hell, No. Merck is planning to appeal.

Boxer for $400 sold in Japan

Japanese men are famous for being very meticulous about their underwear - only the best. I have also heard that Japan is an expensive country and prices for even everyday products are outrageous. Japanese women do the same with their lingerie. However, this is outrageous. A store in Shibuya, Tokyo, called Luscious, sells a line of boxers that sells for Yen 44,100 or approximately $400. It doesn't look like such a big deal to me. Actually, it looks somewhat feminine.

Evangelical pastor Christopher Beard is gay

These are difficult times for Evangelical Christians. The more homophobic they become the more they find out that the church has acted like a magnet for homosexuals. It all started with their leader Ted Haggard admitting to be not only a gay but hanging out with prostitutes. The latest reports say that he is undergoing degayfication.

Another bomb was dropped with Mary Cheney's pregnancy and the praise it received from both grandparents Dick and Lynne Cheney and president Bush.

Then yet another pastor Paul Barnes quit admitting to be a closet gay.

The sad news keeps coming. A colleague of Ted Haggard, pastor Christopher Beard, has also admitted to being gay though he did not have sex with Ted Haggard. I think that both of them can do that in hell.

After displaying her privates to the world, Britney Spears publicly announced that she would resume wearing underwear. Now unless you wear your underwear the way Gwen Stefani does, chances are no one will find out if you are wearing it.

Eli Lilly defends its lies about Zyprexa

You can talk about all the evil things that corporations do but it does not mean anything until you put a face to the pain. So when the speculation about a possible recall of Zyprexa started, our office heard from Daniel Haszard. He is a victim and is fighting back Eli Lilly, that reportedly sold Zyprexa not just for schizophrenia (its approved use by the FDA) but its drug reps also pushed it for its "off-label" use. Apparently it is more common than you think and doctors are as guilty as the drugmakers. Daniel was given Zyprexa for his PTSD and he is not doing very well.

Fox is the most anti religious network

Oh my God, Fox is “by far the most anti-religious network,” with one in every two portrayals of religion coming up negative, according to a bunch of Jesus freaks belonging to a group called The Parents Television Council.

How could this happen? After all they have Bill O'Reilly and all the other right wing nuts that run Fox parent company, the News Corp. Even the president and the vice president reportedly rely on Fox for their entertainment, unless of course, they are not being entertained by news like pregnancy of Mary Cheney or coming out of Ted Haggard and Paul Barnes.

Indian companies harass Americans

Yesterday I received a phone call from an Indian company (the phone number on my caller ID said 400-092-0220 and "Unknown Name"). A very cheerful Indian man wanted me to buy long-distance phone service.

Remember my phone number is on the "Do Not Call" list but looks like corrupt Indians do not wish to obey American laws since they don't obey Indian laws anyway. Hey guys, I don't want healthcare nor phone service from you and stop harassing me.

President Bush supports lesbian mom Mary Cheney

Conservative Christian homophobes were highly disappointed when Mary Cheney announced her pregnancy. Contrary to their expectations, grandpa and grandma Dick and Lynne Cheney, refused to denounce the development and actually welcomed the news saying they are “looking forward with eager anticipation.”

White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said that when Cheney told President Bush of Mary Cheney's pregnancy, "the president congratulated them and said he is very happy for them."

The conservatives just can't believe it. In case they were in any doubt about the president's comfort level with lesbians, he tells People magazine, “I think Mary is going to be a loving soul to her child. And I’m happy for her.”

Well, it looks as if evangelical Christianity has been hijacked by gays like Ted Haggard and Paul Barnes and even anti-gay leaders like Mitt Romney have a soft corner for homosexuals, so it makes sense to be kind to lesbian moms.

After a series of fairytale weddings for Pam Anderson and Kid Rock, the divorce is nothing like it - on the other hand, it is getting ugly. First, the husband accused her of partying too hard (Pam also had a miscarriage) and now Pamela Anderson is fighting back. On the Howard Stern show, she said that her ex-husband is lying if he claims that she was "out partying every night" and "was never home with the kids."

Vegetarians are smarter

BBC reports that intelligent children are more likely to become vegetarians later in life. Now I am not a strict vegetarian but am pretty close - I eat meat probably a few times a month. I am now wondering if I should simply give up eating meat altogether - who knows I might get on the PETA sexy people list.

Evangelical pastor Paul Barnes is gay

Our wonderful friend Ted Haggard will no longer be lonely in hell. He will be given company by Paul Barnes, founding pastor of the Grace Chapel in a Denver suburb. Without much drama, Pastor Barnes stepped down after admitting that he was gay.

Yet another sad day for homophobe evangelical Christians who were disappointed only recently by Governor Mitt Romney who did not live up to the high standards of homophobia and then by Mary Cheney who decided to get pregnant.

I was so proud to see Kirstie Alley showing off her sexy body in a bikini. That proved that you can lose weight. However, new pictures show that she has gained some of her weight (look at her latest picture on the left and compare it to her picture just a few weeks ago on the right) and is starting to look like a cow again.

Recently several Hollywood celebrities gathered and believe it or not one of the things that they talked about was hairy armpits. Well, considering it is perfectly acceptable to show your crotch, talking about underarm hair is pretty tame.

Maria Bello said that she was so busy being a mom that only because she was attending the event she got around to "shaving two-week old growth" under her arms.

Maggie Gyllenhaal chimed in, "I still have two-week old growth."

Teenage girls who weigh themselves frequently are more likely to binge eat and participate in unhealthy weight control behaviors in the future, according to new research from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. Sounds illogical, right?

Well, I am not a teenager, but I do weigh myself daily. It helps me keep better track of my weight and if I am gaining it. If I see an increase of 3 pounds, I immediately cut back calories and increase my workout duration.

By the way, Ted Haggard, the gay behind the Jerusalem Diet was a big proponent of daily weigh-ins.

When Kevin Federline demanded custody of his children with Britney Spears, we all made fun of him and thought he was joking - how could a man who was a party animal take care of kids? Well, since then a lot has changed. Britney Spears has been flashing her crotch to anyone who has the courage to look at it and is more focused on partying with another party animal Paris Hilton, while Kevin Federline has been behaving.

The news that Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services is trying to investigate if Britney Spears should keep custody of her children means that K-Fed does have a chance.

Cell phones do not cause cancer

I don't know if I should call them rumors or preliminary science (subject to availability of more evidence) but for the longest time people thought that you could get cancer from putting a cell phone next to your brain. It even lead to higher sales for all those bluetooth headsets. Looks it was all just BS. probably perpetuated by headset companies.

Institute of Cancer Epidemiology in Denmark has published its research in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute to show that there is no increased risk of cancer among cell phone users. Time to go buy another cool mobile phone.

Jessica Simpson wardrobe malfunction

Things don't seem to be going too well for Jessica Simpson. While her ex Nick Lachey is having the time of his life with that hottie Vanessa Minnillo (though I don't like how she talks), she is stuck in the doghouse with no one. Not even John Mayer. Mary Cheney, the daughter of American Vice President Dick Cheney, and her partner Heather Poe are about to become moms. Homophobes in the United States, particularly Ted Haggard and evangelical Christians, are celebrating because it gives them some juicy material to hate the gays even more.

For those of you reading this post outside the United States, most Americans love to hate gays starting from their president and most churches. Many Americans also do not like them to marry or enjoy any benefits like tax breaks and healthcare benefits as a couple. Some Americans hate them so much that they won't even do business with them.

Paxil is in trouble again though it is unlikely that the company will do anything to recall it since the greatest dangers are for pregnant women or those hoping to become pregnant.

Paxil and other drugs in the class like Prozac (fluoxetine), Remeron (mirtazapine), Serzone (nefazodone), Wellbutrin (bupropion), and Zoloft (sertraline) are all being investigated and even a class action lawsuit has been filed. Paxil has also been linked to suicides.

The reasons? According to her, the pill, diet, and plastic surgery. Indeed bra size is growing everywhere not just in England. Though many wonder if bigger breasts, thunder thighs, and huge butts are good - I am not sure I like obese women with large breasts.

If you are gay and the equivalent of Pope in the Evangelical Christian community you don't blast gays in public but then hire a male prostitute to have sex with you. Remember what happened to Ted Haggard?

So if you are against illegal immigrants, you don't hire them to keep your lawn pretty in a tony neighborhood of Arlington, especially when you can easily find homephobe lawn care companies. But that is exactly what Governor Mitt Romney has done.

I think it will give so much juicy material to bloggers if he turns out to be gay with all his hatred towards gays.

I continue to get surprised though that parents on the other hand want to pretend that Americans live in this puritan society but at the same time they oppose breastfeeding in public. A Texas mother protested that her child got harmed during a visit to the museum when he saw nude art - the teacher Sydney McGee was fired. Another group of Fond du Lac High School students' parents is protesting that a book by Maya Angelou - “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” - should not be part of required reading because it mentions rape.

Remember the good old days when women actually wore bras and panties and did whatever they could to avoid giving any hints to others about their underwear. The word "underwear" meant items of clothing that you wore under your garments and only you (or a special someone) got to see it.

Then came those tank tops which either forced you to dress without a bra or the bra was there for all to see. A new fashion trend emerged so that bra straps were designed to be shown and a bra was part of a an "outfit."

We all got used to it until the low-rise pants came along. They brought along another trend: show your thongs or panties and fashion experts coined a new term for it - whale tail.

So during last few years we reached a point that a woman's bra and panties were no longer an intimate apparel. When you saw her, you knew exactly what she was wearing inside. For many of us it even robbed us off of that excitement you feel when you are with a woman and she takes her clothes off revealing her lingerie.

Now a new trend is taking birth: dressing without panties and letting the world see it all. Credit definitely goes to women like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Britney Spears. And while it is raising eyebrows right now, you wouldn't have to wait too long before you see it at a mall near you. In case, you don't want to, here are tips on how not to show your panties while wearing a short dress.

And it is not just women - men too have followed the trend, though not as aggressively. It is just that not many women want to see men in their ugly boxers. Thongs and G-strings are another story, though.

Why making fun of Scientology is acceptable?

TomKat buy new home in England close to the headquarter of Scientology, screams the headline. I see a little bit of jealousy or ridicule here. Why is it a big news if any other Hollywood celebrity buying a home next to a church is not? Why do we single out and make fun of Scientology or Kabbalah while to do the same for any other religion leads to criticism and even violence?

I am not a Scientologist or even religious but I definitely find this hypocrisy disturbing. If Tom Cruise wants to believe it Scientology and do everything possible to promote it I see nothing wrong with it. At least he is not disgusting like Ted Haggard.
