White teeth matter
While different people from various cultures have their preferences about what they like in other people, we are also alike in many ways. For instance, Japanese people pay a lot more attention to eyes than Americans do to make an impression. Generally speaking, however, we do look at people's faces and make judgments based on their eyes, nose, lips, smile, and how their overall face looks together as an entity.I don't have the best set of teeth in the world but I keep them nice and clean and that makes up for the way my teeth look. And I have to confess that when I look at someone with a perfect set of sparkling white teeth, I find that attractive, but what can put me off completely is yellowed out teeth and a a bad breath. Crest Whitestrips recently commissioned a study and found out that I am not alone in feeling this way. Almost everyone else feels that white teeth have a huge role to play in perceiving others, especially when kissing. Maybe a cosmetic dentist does mean something.
