I think it is appropriate to criticize Britney Spears for her sheer dress or Gwen Stefani for her bra show or Brooke Hogan in her sexy bra top, but look who else does the same? Lindsay Lohan.

I think that top is simply too sheer. The only good news is that she is wearing a bra.

After displaying her privates to the world, Britney Spears publicly announced that she would resume wearing underwear. Now unless you wear your underwear the way Gwen Stefani does, chances are no one will find out if you are wearing it.

Well, Britney is kind enough to not make you go through that painful process of guessing her undergarments. She has gone sheer.

I am still debating if wearing a matching bra and panties would have been a better choice.

That pink bra (looks like the same bra that April Scott wore) really stands out.

We all know how Paris Hilton pushes the envelope and she has been rewarded with publicity for that. Not that we love her but her antics are good enough for entertainment. Her sister Nicky Hilton has not gone so far but these pictures reveal that she is learning from her sister.

While we don't get to see their privates like Britney Spears, but their garter belts leave little to imagine.

And when there have been rumors about Paris Hilton and Britney Spears being in a lesbian relationship, this picture does make you wonder.

And I also wonder what Kathy Hilton, that wizard of etiquette, think of this.

Britney Spears to wear underwear again

After delighting her fans with her crotch on display Britney Spears has declared that she will resume wearing her underwear. In a message to her fans on her website, she says that because Victoria's Secret has launched a new line of underwear, she will start to use it - I wonder if she was referring to that diamond bra, not very different from a bra that she tried to sell on eBay at one time.

There is no direct reference to panties but I am assuming that she will put those on too. Recently she actually did put them on and was kind enough to flash her panties to the eager fans.

A Manhattan plastic surgeon, Dr. Brad Jacobs, is offering a holiday gift to Britney Spears: a tummy tuck. Apparently he is concenred that when Britney flashes her crotch, she is showing off her C-section marks. He claims that he can fix all of them so that she can give us a better view of her privates, Brazilian bikini wax and all.

While her ex-husband, Jason Alexander, may simply be making it all up when he said that Britney Spears has had a tummy-tuck, she now has a chance to actually have it.

Not that she can't afford to on her own but we Americans love free stuff.

When Kevin Federline demanded custody of his children with Britney Spears, we all made fun of him and thought he was joking - how could a man who was a party animal take care of kids? Well, since then a lot has changed. Britney Spears has been flashing her crotch to anyone who has the courage to look at it and is more focused on partying with another party animal Paris Hilton, while Kevin Federline has been behaving.

The news that Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services is trying to investigate if Britney Spears should keep custody of her children means that K-Fed does have a chance.

Remember the good old days when women actually wore bras and panties and did whatever they could to avoid giving any hints to others about their underwear. The word "underwear" meant items of clothing that you wore under your garments and only you (or a special someone) got to see it.

For many of us it even robbed us off of that excitement you feel when you are with a woman and she takes her clothes off revealing her lingerie.

Now a new trend is taking birth: dressing without panties and letting the world see it all. Credit definitely goes to women like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and Britney Spears. And while it is raising eyebrows right now, you wouldn't have to wait too long before you see it at a mall near you. So this was a case of much ado about nothing. It seems that Fed-Ex (I like the new name for Kevin Federline) never intended to sell a sex tape of his honeymoon with Britney Spears because it doesn't exist. It was all made up by the tabloids. Now I am even starting to doubt if K-Fed really intends to write a book about Britney's alleged plastic surgery and lesbian relationships (she did make out in public with Madonna).

While it was very mean of Britney Spears to divorce Kevin Federline by text message (even if he is a loser - though it is still her fault that she married him; I mean the guy has always been a loser), it is even meaner of Kevin to threaten to sell (what I think is a private) video of their intimate moments during their trips to Hawaii. But I guess if the price of the film can be as much as $65 million, you stop thinking with your head.

I often wonder why couples get so nasty after divorce. Wasn't Britney happily married to this guy of her own free will and then she calls him a loser? Does that give him a right to be mean and cheap?

When Britney Spears filed for divorce from Kevin Federline, she assumed that getting custody of children would be a non-issue. Not so fast, Britney. Kevin actually wants sole custody of children.

So what entitles K-Fed to demand this? I say, experience. After all, he has fathered 4 children while Britney has had only two. Should it matter that from all accounts he has not been a great father so far?

Divorce by text message

The news that Britney Spears has divorced Kevin Federline was not shocking to me but it did shock me that she did it by sending a text message. And she must be rather happy to do it because immediately thereafter she was spotted in New York wearing a low-cut black dress with fishnet stockings.

And poor Kevin didn't see it coming - just hours before he was gushing how she treats him like a husband. Remember that the couple renewed their vows in Hawaii just a few months ago.
