Health with fruits and vegetables
It seems that no matter how many times people are told that fruits and vegetbles are critical for good health, people don't get it. If you love eating meat and fish, you can make your meal even more delicious by adding vegetables to your diet. Just notice how Italian, Japanese, Indian, Thai and Vietnamese cuisines incorporate both meat and vegetables. The reason you may not be enjoying your vegetables is that you are not adding flavor to them.
But what about fruits?
There is simply no excuse not to eat fruits. They make great snacks and it is much better to eat fruits raw rather than drinking store-bought juice (it is fine to make your own juice at home with fresh fruits and skipping the sugar).
Fruits and veggies are critical to your health and if you eat the recommended portion, you do not have to worry about vitamins and supplements.
