There is something ridiculously funny about the Austin Powers series. That is why when I am in mood for fun, I know that I will be entertained. And Goldmember delivers. As always,
Mike Myers is is excellent. While I admire
Beyonce for her great looks and music, I realized that she is a fairly talented actress too - I mean I do not expect her to dislodge
Nicole Kidman or
Gwyneth Paltrow or
Reese Witherspoon any time soon with her acting, but she does a good job in this movie.
I had seen parts of the movie off and on before, but yesterday was the first time that I actually sat down to watch it. In summary, like always, Mike runs around saving the world and fighting the evil guys all over the world - yes, that's right. They even make a trip to
Tokyo, Japan and it is hilarious.
And unlike
The Pacifier, it is not suitable for children, but strongly recommended.
