Nicole Richie is just 85 lbs

When Nicole Richie was arrested for driving on the wrong side of the road, the big news is not that she was on drugs, but that her weight is a mere 85 lbs.

According to this BMI calculator, her BMI is just 16.1. In other words, grossly underweight and needs to learn how to get fat from Kirstie Alley.

Someone also needs to remind her that you can die if you don't eat enough - she should also be forced to watch movies like "Grave of the fireflies."

Ana Carolina Reston dead due to eating disorder

We have our fair share of anorexic women: Nicole Richie, Katherine McPhee, and others. The really sad news is that Ana Carolina Reston (AP photo), a Brazilian model is now dead after weighing less than 90 lbs for a height of 5 feet and 8 inches (giving her a BMI of just 13).

I hope Ms. Richie is paying attention. An eating disorder is nothing to be proud of. Once we have everything in moderation, life is great. Extremes are bad. May Ana Carolina rest in peace.
