Devon Cameron creates Stella art
What you see on your left is Stella - a design fashioned from seven different types of hard-shelled gourds and embellished with dried leaves and flowers. Each is handmade by Devon Cameron (with some help from Mother Nature) in her Sugar Loaf, New York studio. And each projects a style and "cattitude" that will bring a smile and place her high on any collector's list. These whimsical, museum-quality works are large as life measuring 20 to 26 inches from their gourd-bud noses to their curled tails. Fiercely independent, meticulously clean, and eager to delight, these ladies never unsheathe their pine-cone claws or trigger an allergy. All natural, quintessentially feminine, and sassy to their seedy core, these cats are a must have.
These hanging ornaments take the form of cat, dog, cow, pig, snowman, rooster, turtle, penguin, and frog.
