President Bush supports lesbian mom Mary Cheney

Conservative Christian homophobes were highly disappointed when Mary Cheney announced her pregnancy. Contrary to their expectations, grandpa and grandma Dick and Lynne Cheney, refused to denounce the development and actually welcomed the news saying they are “looking forward with eager anticipation.”

White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said that when Cheney told President Bush of Mary Cheney's pregnancy, "the president congratulated them and said he is very happy for them."

The conservatives just can't believe it. In case they were in any doubt about the president's comfort level with lesbians, he tells People magazine, “I think Mary is going to be a loving soul to her child. And I’m happy for her.”

Well, it looks as if evangelical Christianity has been hijacked by gays like Ted Haggard and Paul Barnes and even anti-gay leaders like Mitt Romney have a soft corner for homosexuals, so it makes sense to be kind to lesbian moms.

Homophobes celebrate Mary Cheney pregnancy

Mary Cheney, the daughter of American Vice President Dick Cheney, and her partner Heather Poe are about to become moms. Homophobes in the United States, particularly Ted Haggard and evangelical Christians, are celebrating because it gives them some juicy material to hate the gays even more.

For those of you reading this post outside the United States, most Americans love to hate gays starting from their president and most churches. Many Americans also do not like them to marry or enjoy any benefits like tax breaks and healthcare benefits as a couple. Some Americans hate them so much that they won't even do business with them.

Should Mitt Romney be punished for hiring illegal immigrants?

If you are gay and the equivalent of Pope in the Evangelical Christian community you don't blast gays in public but then hire a male prostitute to have sex with you. Remember what happened to Ted Haggard?

So if you are against illegal immigrants, you don't hire them to keep your lawn pretty in a tony neighborhood of Arlington, especially when you can easily find homephobe lawn care companies. But that is exactly what Governor Mitt Romney has done.

I think it will give so much juicy material to bloggers if he turns out to be gay with all his hatred towards gays.

Why making fun of Scientology is acceptable?

TomKat buy new home in England close to the headquarter of Scientology, screams the headline. I see a little bit of jealousy or ridicule here. Why is it a big news if any other Hollywood celebrity buying a home next to a church is not? Why do we single out and make fun of Scientology or Kabbalah while to do the same for any other religion leads to criticism and even violence?

I am not a Scientologist or even religious but I definitely find this hypocrisy disturbing. If Tom Cruise wants to believe it Scientology and do everything possible to promote it I see nothing wrong with it. At least he is not disgusting like Ted Haggard.

Democratic evangelical is no longer an oxymoron

Earlier, I used to think that "gay Republican" was an oxymoron - but I changed my opinion once Mark Foley, Ted Haggard, and so many others proved me wrong.

And today I am changing my opinion again - "Democratic evangelical" is also not an oxymoron either. As many as one out of three evangelican christians have voted for the Democrats.

Ted Haggard the liar and deceptor in chief

After repeatedly talking like Bill Clinton, world's #1 hypocrite Ted Haggard has finally confessed to loving what he told everyone to hate. How sick can anyone be?

This case is a wonderful opportunity for evangelical Christians to stop their hateful agenda against gays, but from what I read, they have abandoned their darling pastor for now and will march on with their hatred in full glory.

"I realize that Ted Haggard has made a terrible mistake and I'm really glad for him, and for everybody that did come out in the open, because lies and deception are much worse than the truth," says Joyce Meyer (on ABC), a prominent evangelist from St. Louis. "But I don't believe what he's done has changed the stand on morality or the word of God. Nor do I think it should change our stand on gay marriage."

Ted Haggard, Neil Patrick Harris, similar but different

There is someone else who has flip-flopped on his sexuality: Neil Patrick Harris ("How I Met Your Mother"). When news first surfaced that he may be gay, instead of admitting right away, his publicist denied that was the case. In just 24 hourse, the story changed - he is indeed gay, he said.

"[I] am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest and feel most fortunate to be working with wonderful people in the business I love," he said.

Wouldn't it be nice if Ted Haggard would simply tell the world that he is gay and actually start a fight for acceptance of gays in the evangelical community? I am still having difficulty understanding why he keeps lying.

As reported earlier, Ted Haggard has indirectly confessed his homosexuality by stepping aside. Over dinner I was wondering how you could leave this double life.

So you came home every night feeling good about fooling these millions of (should I say idiotic?) evangelicals who seem to live in a fantasy world in which gays don't exist. And you feel, wow, I must be really smart because I can have it all - a stud called Mike Jones, all the drugs that I want, and then have all these idiots literally hanging on to every word that I say. Some even went on the Jerusalem diet that he recommended.

A pastor who is so full of lies and hypocrisy is worse than a gay pastor. Christians, wake up!

Ted Haggard is gay, a man charges

Ted Haggard, the head of the Evangelical movement in the United States and writer of the book Jerusalem Diet has, for obvious reasons, trashing gays. A man, Mike Jones, now claims that he has had a sexual business relationship with the pastor. After the Mark Foley scandal, several Republicans that have consistently trashed gays for years are now being exposed as homosexuals themselves.

According to 9News, Jones started talking to "9 Wants to Know" two months ago. He claims Haggard has been paying him for sex over the past three years and used methamphetamine in his presence on several occasions.
