Katherine Heigl mom without pregnancy

Gossip magazines always like to speculate when a Hollywood celebrity is pregnant. Even if she is spotted shopping for a gift, they will immediately start suggesting that a baby is on its way.

Now Katherine Heigl, who got married to Josh Kelly is choosing to have a baby but she is adopting. I am not sure if she has fertility issues or if she or her husband have already tried options like IUI, IVF, or surrogate mom, but she has adopted a baby girl from South Korea called Nayleigh (or Leigh).

It may be interesting to mention that previously Heigl told USA Today that, "I am done with the whole idea of having my own children. It doesn't seem like fun. I don't think it's necessary to go through all of that." If that is the case, considering how over-populated the planet is, this is the greenest way to become a parent. Plus, she need not worry about pregnancy weight loss or stretch marks or breastfeeding or sagging breasts.

Weight loss surgery before pregnancy

Pregnant woman belly snapAs I have written previously, pregnancy for obese women is risky if they do get pregnant in the first place. It is widely believed that obesity can result in infertility.

Now a new study by Dr. Melinda Maggard says that women should undergo weight loss surgery before they try to become pregnant. Not only are they more likely to become pregnant, the pregnancy and childbirth will be less complicated, and the baby will be healthy.

Women who get pregnant after gastric bypass surgery tend to be healthier and less likely to deliver a baby with complications compared to obese women.

How did Salma Hayek lose weight after childbirth?

Photo of mom Samla HayakSalma Hayek has some honest tips for mothers hoping to lose weight childbirth.

It has traditionally been believed that a mom can lose weight much more easily if she starts breastfeeding after childbirth. According to Salma Hayek, however, "...the myth that says you lose all this weight when you breast-feed? That is sooo not true."

I know it sure does help your body work harder if you nurse, but if you continue to overeat, the weight will not go away. Even worse, you might even gain some.

In the end losing weight is all about maintaining a balance between calories consumed and used. So I am back to repeating that workout and low calorie diets are keys to losing weight.

How much wait should I gain during pregnancy?

Photo of a pregnent waman with her belly showingIt is important that a pregnant woman gain weight during pregnancy but pregnancy for obese women is different. They need to work very closely with their doctor to make sure that they don't gain too much weight.

Teresa Hillier, MD, senior investigator at the Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research has found that if a woman gains 40 lbs or more, it doubles the risk of having a baby that is more than 9 pounds. That generally means risks to health of both mother and child.

The rule of thumb is that just because you are pregnant it does not mean that you can binge or eat without counting your calories. Plus, while your exercise routine should change, you must still engage in proper exercise. This will also allow you to lose weight easily after childbirth.

Fat Quyeen Latifah

Photo of Queen LatifahQueen Latifah is a very talented women excelling in so many ways despite her weight. Yes, while she did have surgery to reduce her large chest, she has made no obvious efforts to lose weight through anything radical like liposuction or gastric bypass. On the contrary, in an interview to People, she says that she is proud of being a curvaceous woman. "(In Hollywood) we've definitely gotten better with body type," she says. "It used to be just me! Now with Jennifer Hudson's success and America Ferrera, I got some successors to take the reins on this whole bodylicious thing." She even organized a modeling contest for plus size women.

"I think I'm normal (she weighs 200 lbs) compared to the statistics," she says. "This is a big country nowadays." She is absolutely right. America is suffering from an obesity crisis. Even Tyra Banks has no problem being fat.

While Latifah had breast reduction surgery because of back pain, she now regrets that she reduced her cup size too much. Before her surgery, she says she was "an E or an F cup. I was pretty big. Now I am like a DD. I wanted to be a triple. They took one D too many! So that was hard to deal with. ... I missed my old look." No wonder Kate Beckinsale wants breasts like Queen Latifah.

Lunch Box Diet review

MYNIPPON photo of the lunch box diet bookWe all seem to eat well when we are at home or go to a fine restaurant. On the other hand, the worst meal of the day might very well be lunch for many of us, who fail to plan for it. It is not uncommon to walk to the cafeteria in the building itself or a nearby deli/fast food joint and grab unhealthy food, or even worse, buy some junk from a vending machine. One bad meal can undo all the healthy eating that you do during the day.

The solution to this dilemma is the "The Lunch Box Diet." This diet prevents those lunchtime hunger pangs, provides long term energy and gives the ultimate safe, slender figure by simpky picking from a plastic box. Ideal for those constantly on the move.

Developed by Simon Lovell, the inspiring diet works by picking items from three special food groups and combining them together to offer a plethora of tasty combinations that can be simply put together by anyone. What's more; users get all the vitamins and minerals they need to stay healthy and they can have their normal breakfast and evening meal if it applies and there's no messing around with meals in-between.

It's pack up and out to work! No more craving for the bad things at lunch time. Simon explained that eating is about enjoying. As well as being fun, there are massive health factors involved when dieting. The Lunch Box Diet loses and maintains weight the safe way, at a controled rate that will stay off in the long-term.
