story of how we found Ice Hashimoto to model for MYNIPPON is rather interesting.
During one of our random Internet searches for Japan related stuff,
her name popped up and realizing that she would be a perfect person to be
featured as a model on our website we decided to approach her. We were
not, however, sure that she would even respond to our email – in fact,
we were all convinced that we were being impolite to ask her to model

Those of you who do not know Ice Hashimoto, here is a
brief introduction to her. She
has been modeling for many years now while pursuing her academic
interests. She was a hair
model for Jingles Salon and a runway model for yearly International Fashion Show
modeling lingerie,
bridal, and
traditional
Chinese/Japanese
clothing.
So she is truly a "model and brains."
Ice is well regarded for her "ageless"(17+)
and diverse look, both ethnically (she has been mistaken for everything
from Native American to Polynesian) and
photogenically. In her spare time she enjoys singing, DANCING (anything from shakin' it up at a club to waltzing at a black tie affair), traveling,
rock
climbing, volleyball, SCUBA
diving, mountain
biking, skiing,
snowboarding, reading, sketching,
etc.

 YES and the photo-shoot
We were pleasantly surprised to receive a prompt
response from Ice. She had a
series of questions – which was definitely a positive sign.
Once we answered her queries, she agreed to work with us as a
favor. She told us that she
liked our website and appreciated the fact that by modeling for MYNIPPON
she would be able to contribute towards a better understanding of Japan
– a country to which she has family ties.

We were even more surprised when we actually were
able to get on her busy calendar for a photo shoot rather quickly.
It was a delight to work with her.
Not only is she a thorough professional, she is very creative and
knows how to use the camera to her advantage.
Her playful style and sophisticated tastes in clothing would
delight all our visitors. The
photo shoot lasted several hours and while we were wondering if she would
start to complain soon of being tired, she was full of energy all along
and her big smile never went away. She tried modeling as a busy
business
woman, a casual woman, dressed in lingerie/sportswear/formal gowns,
etc. and she was a delight to work with as a model.
She is
already featured as model on our websites. She has been more
than generous to MYNIPPON by working with us.
Thus, we would appreciate if no attempt is made by anyone to
