After acting in TransAmerica and being somewhat flat up there, Zac Posen (a designer also favored by Mischa Barton) knew that it would be great to make Felicity Huffman look as feminine as possible.  So she followed the advice that we have been giving to women like her:  low neckline (almost up to her navel) and showing anything that won't get you arrested.  At the Golden Globes, along with other desperate housewives, she wore a dress that can be easily forgotten, but this dress clearly sets a new way for women to dress.
