you did not know J. Paul Getty was a
very wealthy man at one time and since he was fond
of collecting
art,
he left it all behind for us to enjoy. In one of
the most
beautiful museums in the world -- that is by the way
free, you just pay for parking if you are driving -- and
you can go there, enjoy all the art that includes
paintings and
sculptures,
plus, enjoy the
beautiful
gardens. Since it is located on a very high
hill (a beautiful toy train takes you up and down after
you park the car), you get incredible views of the
Los Angeles skyline. You can also enjoy
music and other performances if you plan ahead.
I was not crazy about the
food
sold there so bring your own
sandwiches if you are
picky
eater like me, and
have a picnic prior to going inside the museum. |
