Elegant, sophisticated look at the red carpet

Jennifer Lopez chose a vintage green gown (Vintage jewelry) for the Oscars 2006 (Rita Watnick at Lily et Cie) - apparently now part of her personal collection, as opposed to celebrities receiving it as a gift/loan from designers.  The Hollywood celebrity has caused a lot of controversy in the past with her outfits on the red carpet but this year she, like most other stars, including Salma Hayek, chose graceful outfits.  J Lo was also one of the the few who chose a color other than black.  Though, the bright yellow dress worn by Michelle Williams did not earn many admirers.  (Related:  Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Cute mom Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Lopez fitness)
