While a trip to New York City is always exciting, Christmas time is definitely special. Apart from shopping,
of course, a must-go destination is the Rockefeller Center. At the time we were there, the Observation Deck was reopened and
Swarovski - the company known for its crystals - created
"Joie," a beautiful crystal waterfall chandelier.
“Joie” consists of as many as 14,000 crystals, measures 35 feet (10.6 m) in height and weighs 5,000 pounds (2.3 tons). No surprise then that, apart from the
Christmas
Tree, "Joie" drew enormous crowds and was a favorite
spot among tourists for photos. |
