| As all
of you know I am in a
very good state of health and I have accomplished
that by
eating right,
working out daily, following the
eating principles recommended by Michael Pollan and
Dr Perricone, but from time to time I am tempted to
eat something sweet. I am not a big
dessert eater on a regular basis but I have my
weaknesses like Stonyfield full-cream yogurt or
homemade
pecan pie. I almost never eat
ice-cream now. Then I heart about Pinkberry
frozen yogurt and when we went to one of their shops in
New York City and were a little disappointed to see
the tiny shop with no place to sit (a few seats were
taken), we bolted to the nearest
Starbucks but we still wanted to try. So after
a day of sightseeing in
Los Angeles that included the City Hall, The
Disney Concert Hall and admiring the
skyline, we returned to Little Tokyo where we had
parked our car and to our surprise, we saw a larger and
not crowded Pinkberry shop. They have
low-fat versions and you can add healthy options
like
fruits. Strongly recommended when you want to
indulge. |
