Looks like we might have another metric for excessive plastic surgery.  Model Alicia Douvall puts it the right way — after having as many as 350 surgical procedures putting her in the same exclusive club as Joan Rivers and Janice Dickinson — telling The Sun, ““What I have done breaks my heart. Imagine holding your baby daughter for the first time and not being able to smile.”  Ouch, that must hurt.

She added, “I have lost my looks and my life has been ruined. I did the most terrible things to try to be perfect and was blinded by what surgeons were telling me.  I have spent $2 million on surgery and I lost my 20s because of it….I can’t drink properly, it is supposed to be through a straw, and I have disfigured myself.”  Thankfully, like any other addict she has gone through rehab and is trying to go back to her old self.  That would not be easy considering she went to FF cup from AA cup, and has implants pretty much in every part of her body.  She even got her toes shortened.

From my research I have found that Winona is old-fashioned when it comes to diet, exercise, and beauty regimen.  Eat just enough calories that you need during the day, workout regularly, and stick with tried and tested classic makeup techniques.

Double mastectomy:  This is a medical procedure in which the surgeons make an effort to remove the breast tissues most likely to be affected by cancer.  You can never remove 100% of the tissues so the risk never goes away completely, but it is highly minimized.

Breast reconstruction surgery:  Once the procedure above is done, the plastic surgeons can also reconstruct new breasts with the help of skin obtained from the procedure and using implants.  Yes, there will be lots of scars but other than no one can actually notice that you have changed in any way.

Things to know:  Genome testing is still an emerging area.  It is also not widely available and can be very expensive.  Typically, if you are an unfortunate customer of a greedy, heartless American health insurance company, chances are that it will not pay for any of these services or at least give you a very hard time.
