Did Spencer Pratt divorce Heidi Montag due to plastic surgery?
I have previously discussed divorces after plastic surgery. They happen for couples in which the woman looks and feels much younger after undergoing cosmetic surgery but the man is either careless or clueless and starts to look older and beaten up. Sad it may sound but the two people are at different points in their lives and the only way for them to pursue their dreams is to separate.
For Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, things turned out the same way but not for the same line of argument. Heidi had many cosmetic procedures (Visit this link to see before and after cosmetic surgery photos of Heidi Montag) in the hope of looking better but Spencer who is himself a very handsome, young man, found that she was not the same woman he fell in love with. After seeing her horrible condition after surgery and that included helping her to even use the bathroom, he simply could not understand why a pretty girl like her would have so much elective surgery. Eventually, he got tired and they ended the marriage.
The lesson here is that it is fine to go under the knife but if you want to be with the same partner, it is better to do it after deciding together. That way your partner will be prepared better for the post-surgery life.
