Too young for breast implants

Katrina asks, “I was wondering how young you can be to have a breast implants? What about 16?” (Related: Right age for breast implants)

Most cosmetic surgeons typically recommend that you wait until 18 to have them, though many teenagers still get them (with the support and approval of parents, of course). Breast augmentation is an important decision that you will have to live with the rest of your life. It is not like getting hair extensions or buying a new nail polish. They need to be replaced periodically, and though extremely rare, they can have complications.
