Plastic surgery party before weddings

In the past I spoke about how plastic surgery is becoming an ideal gift among couples and family members. While some people criticize it, a lot of parents are giving a procedure as a gift to their daughters (mostly). Another trend that has started to pop up is about plastic surgery giveaways by businesses – a practice discouraged by American Society of Plastic Surgeons and in particular their peer group in the UK – the BAAPS.

Now you might have already heard of Botox parties. Now I have found out that some couples and their friends/family members are organizing these events where everyone can have some wrinkle-reduction, rejuvenating treatment done, for example, Botox, chemical peels, dermal fillers, or other non surgical treatments.

Dr. Robert Rey of the Dr. 90210 fame recently said in a TV interview that for many women once they are done with their divorce proceedings, the next stop is the plastic surgeon’s office. It appears that as people remarry multiple times and millions of couples are no longer in their 20s and 30s at the time of their wedding, it doesn’t hurt to have some anti-wrinkle treatments done.
