My breasts are sagging at 17

Sarah, a 17-year old writes, “I have saggy breasts and it really upsets me when I see how my friends look. What is wrong with me? Can you please help me? What should I do? Is plastic surgery the only answer for me?”

You haven’t indicated what is your cup size, but, believe it or not, breasts start to sag even when they are growing. So it is common for girls as young as you to start seeing some sagging. The bigger the cup size, the more it seems that they have sagged and faster the rate at which they sag. I think that your friends may simply have smaller breasts, which not only sag as fast, the sagginess is not so apparent.

Right now, obviously, a surgeon will not perform a breast lift on you because your breasts are still developing, but as you get older, mastopexy is an option for you.

To prevent any further sagging, the best piece of advice that I can give you is to maintain your weight and always wear a bra during the day. You can take it off when you sleep. Here is a helpful article on how to take care of your breasts, in case you have not read it.
