Discrimination after gender change
When you undergo gender reassignment surgery, you will have one less thing to worry about: discrimination by your employer. In the remarkable case of Diane (previously David) Schroer, the Library of Congress refused to hire him after they found out that she was undergoing surgery to become a woman. U.S. District Judge James Robinson has ruled that discriminating against someone for changing genders is discrimination under federal law.
I still expect that some crazy people might still discriminate against someone like you but this ruling establishes some ground rules for fighting back.
