How to talk to a plastic surgeon?

Sara, a 21-year old, is not very happy with her face. “I have set up a consultation with a plastic surgeon to get cosmetic facial surgery. I am not pleased with my appearance and I don’t really know what to do or what procedures to get. How do I talk to my cosmetic surgeon?” she asks.
I think it is right to meet with a surgeon if you are not happy with your looks. I know some people criticize plastic surgery at such a young age, but if this issue is bothering you so much, it is best to deal with it rather than agonize forever.
The question is what is it about your fact that bothers you. Is it the eyes or the nose or the overall face? The best thing to do is to let your surgeon know all the things that you dislike about your face and let him/her react. Remember that he is a professional and he can tell you what is possible and what is not. Plus, how much with the plastic surgery cost, unless you have unlimited money.
So the secret to success during the consultation is to be honest. Don’t commit to anything during the consultation. Just absorb all the information and then ask for some time to think about it. That way you will have an opportunity to reflect, look at the cost, and decide what to do next — you are welcome to seek my opinion as well.
