What causes small breasts?
Regina asks, “What is the scientific reason for small breasts? Why is it that some women have bigger breasts and others have smaller breasts even when their family members are big-breasted?”
Like everything else for a human being (hair/skin/eye color, height, etc.), breast size is also determined largely by genes and to a small extent by environment (primarily nutrition during the age when breasts are growing).
Obviously, not all genes come from mother and that is why a woman can have very different size compared to her sisters or mother but in the end, size can be traced back to ancestors.
