Can I borrow fat from someone else?
Katie writes, “I would like advice on fat transfer volume to the butt area. Unfortunately, I am very skinny and do not have enough fat for the procedure. Is it possible to use my daughter, who is overweight, as a fat donor? I am not interested in butt implants. Is there any other alternative like a permanent gel filler?”
Body often rejects foreign things: As you might be aware, our bodies are not big fans of outside materials so your daughter cannot act as a donor. Even in the case of organ transplants after a perfect match is found, the body often rejects it. The best way to get fat is from your own body. Since you do not have excess fat, you are out of luck.
What you may want to do is to meet with a cosmetic surgeon and see if a lift does the trick for you because a filler is generally not a great option for the buttocks.
