New procedure for a tummy tuck

Carlsbad, California plastic surgeon Steve Laverson has developed a new technique for tummy tuck (Abdominoplasty) that involves an epigastric contour following abdominoplasty by establishing a visible midline contour. In other words, the Linea Alba Sulcus is reconstructed by direct fat excision. “When performed on selected patients this technique can enhance the aesthetic results of abdominoplasty without increasing undesired results or complications,” he says. His research has been published in the Journal of Aesthetic Surgery and is attracting a lot of attention.
