"I'm really confused about having anal
sex with
my wife. Are there any side effects with this
kind of
having sex like colon cancer, rectum or colon
bleeding, infections or any harmful (colon) diseases or
any change or any conversion in the size of pelvis for
women? And generally is it a safe and correct way
of
having sex for couples?
Regarding
anal sex, here are a few things to remember:
- There is no evidence that anal
sex has any health related complications. These are
simply myths.
- I always suggest that couples use
an excellent lubricant and a lubricated
condom while having anal sex. Since the
anus is not naturally equipped to lubricate, unlike
the
vagina, lubrication has to be provided
externally. It can otherwise be really painful and
that is how some some women start to bleed.
- If you do have sex without a
condom, then I strongly suggest that the
penis should not be inserted in the
vagina or
the mouth after you take it out of the anus. You
should clean the penis thoroughly with soap before
trying to
have sex again. Traces of fecal matter can cause
infection in the vagina and the same is true for
ingesting fecal matter through the mouth.
- A couple should also resist the
temptation to have anal sex if the woman is
constipated or has not gone to the
toilet
during last 24 hours.
