broke up with my boyfriend 2 months back. I love him
so much, but after being in a relationship with him for 8
months one day he comes and tells me that he has
stopped
having any feelings for me. I tried a lot to convince
him to work it out on the problems and carry on with the
relationship but he doesn't want to
patch up. But honestly I love him a lot. I
tried being away from him so that he understand the
worth of the relationship by missing me in his life, but
nothing happened; he did not even call. Please tell me
what should I do? I really don't want to lose him. He's
my life."
First
of all, while it may seem like a long time, your
relationship was just 8 months long. It is a relatively
short time for any couple to get to know each other.
Many couples often find that they are not really
compatible and
breaking up is the best way to
move
on so that they can both
find better partners.
Secondly, while you feel differently, he is very
positive and sure about his decision. In his case, it is
not worth looking back. Whatever it is, he does not see
a future with you. He wants to move on as fast as
possible. There is a strong possibility that he was
thinking about it for weeks/months and only now found
the time to break the news to you.
Thirdly, while it may appear that he is your life and
the world will be a lonely place without him, trust me,
within a few months as you
find love again, he will simply become a memory that
too will fade over time.
I strongly suggest that you give up any efforts to
bring him back. He has already moved on and so
should you. If you take this
attitude, it will be easier
to make a
new beginning.
