My married friend is flirting with me

Is she interested in me?

Summary:  If we had the freedom, we all will flirt, all the time.  While flirting may appear to be harmless fun, the fact is that anyone who is flirting is indirectly sending a strong signal of availability and desire, even if both people are married.
Jeff, a married man, has realized that a married family friend has been been flirting with him all this Photo of a woman standing in a position that clearly indicates that she is flirting with a guy on a scootertime. He did not conclude that was the case because he never expected that a happily married woman would hit on a happily married men (Related:  How to start an affair), especially when their families knew each other well. He writes, "I think this woman is naturally a flirt. But she will only target guys that are very athletic, masculine, slim and fit.  I’m very fit myself, I’m very athletic, broad/wide shoulders, pumped up chest and have 6 pack abs. Her husband is on the heavy side with big belly -- it looks like he drinks a lot of beer and eats a lot. They look like a mismatched couple. I think she’s just playing games and leading men on; right? Or do you think she really wants a fling with me?"

Actually all women like good looking, masculine, athletic guys. While some will resist the temptation because of religious beliefs or personal values, others will simply do what they feel like. She appears to belong to the second category.

Flirting is a great way for a woman to feel her feminine power over men and feel wanted, it is also the way women eventually find their partners. And I think you are on her list of targets; otherwise she wouldn't flirt with you. I also think that you are more aggressively being pursued by her because you guys already know each other and can make it all happen without much effort, while maintaining confidentiality. When it comes to having an extramarital relationship, women still choose someone that they know well and can trust, rather than a random stranger, who will spill the beans at the drop of a hat.
