Starved comedy show generates controversy

While the definition of what is humorous varies for each individual, the show "Starved" is generating a lot of controversy since it seems to promote behavior that may have serious consequences on health. Eating disorders are no jokes and most doctors take them very seriously. People undergo treatments at special recovery clinics.

The prorgram has been created by Eric Schaeffer who has tried to document the story of four friends (Schaeffer, Sterling Brown, Del Pentecost, and Laura Benanti) - all struggling with their eating disorders of some kind.
