She has said no to plastic surgery and other things that supposedly make women happy at that age like a loving husband and children are not there in her life.
Well, to find out how a single woman can have a lot of fun too, watch this video of Mariah in which she opens the door to her home dressed in black bra, panties, and garter belts visible under an open silk robe, and then she goes on to satisfy the fantasy of every delivery man (played by Jack McBrayer of 30 Rock - Kenneth) in this beautiful music video "Touch My Body." She even appears at one point dressed like a Catholic schoolgirl and seems to know a lot about computer networking and Laser Tag.
If you did not fall in love with Chris Brown after his VMA performance, you will after you watch him perform a duet with talented Jordin Sparks in this video titled "No Air." What I like about this music video that here are two singers with very powerful voices singing their hearts out. No distracting visuals, no semi-dressed sexy girls moving their butts; just plain great music that you can close your eyes to and enjoy the old fashioned way.
There is no doubt that Christina Aguilera is a sexy woman and on top of that she is one naughty girl. Obviously, it was no surprise then that apart from composing a song (Save Me From Myself) in her son's honor, she has been doing something she should be proud of: breastfeeding her child.
A church in Florida (Relevant Church in Ybor City) appears to have found the answer to lower the 50% divorce rate among Christians in America.
So what is the solution?
More sex. Actually, while even Brazilians are not known to do it daily, pastor Paul Wirth has issued a 30-day sex challenge to married couples (apparently it does not matter if you are in a monogamous relationship for decades but are not legally married).
Christianity is known as a religion hostile to physical intimacy, (unlike Hindus, for instance, who came up with kamasutra) not just among gays and lesbians, but also among heterosexual couples. While the Protestants are somewhat more open minded, the Catholics are outright opposed to doing anything if it is not for the purpose of making babies. As the Relevant Church document points out, "For far too long the church has remained silent on the subject, leading many people to believe that God is against sex, which is completely counter to what the Bible teaches." I am sure that the Pope disagrees.
According to the church, "People are not having enough sex. An epidemic of breakups prove the needs that lead to a great sex life are being overlooked. Dirty dishes, frumpy clothes, and a lack of authentic connections are killing the romance. A great sex life is a challenge and takes focus, determination, and planning. Some say it’s an unrealistic goal, but we disagree. We believe you can have a great sex life, in fact we believe God wants you to have a great sex life."
This is new territory for Christians but this church has a pastor who would be a better host on MTV than in a church. He talks about what my wife is calling a sexathon with the ease with which he probably talks about baseball or gardening. "We know, it sounds crazy. However, we believe this challenge will not only improve sex lives, but also strengthen relationships. In this series married couples will review the obvious needs of him and uncover the forgotten needs of her and singles will cut through the illusions and consider the qualities that result in healthy relationships.
I am so glad that Mark Ronson (who has done a remarkable job of featuring two other great artists: Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse) decided to feature Daniel Merriweather in this beautiful music video "Stop Me." I am sure that as you watch all these people literally drowning in their tears, please don't cry. Just remember that no tears were actually shed in the making of this video. I must confess, though, that a tear or two did roll down my cheeks.
I loved it how seamlessly Mark Ronson managed to include Amy Winehouse in Valerie music video but he goes even farther by coming up with a unique way to feature the lovely Lily Allen. I think it would have been great to feature the real Lily who looks lovelier after her weight loss accomplished through hypnosis but Mark actually ends up using an anime version of her, who is one naughty little creature, dressed in a flirtatious one piece dress as she exudes her charm in an English bar.
If I announce that Amy Winehouse is one of the best singers of all times, I will simply be echoing what you have all been telling me for months now. I have listened to each of her songs dozens of times but her is another interesting music video of hers. The video Valerie is actually by Mark Ronson but it features Amy Winehouse, and unlike many other videos like this, she just gets invited to the stage from the audience and starts singing. Also notice that she trademark beehive is somewhat understated.
I don't know what kind of idiots watch her program but she continues to engage in activities that are simply low-class, in poor taste, and show that this woman is desperate for attention so that she can keep her program alive on television. In one episode she took her bra off and then a let a plastic surgeon feel her to prove that she does not have breast implants and that her breasts were so big that she once considered breast reduction surgery.
In another episode, she put Katherine McPhee on the spot and forced her hands on her chest all in the name of checking if she had implants or if it was all real.
Now, in yet another low, she forced women on her show to undress by taking their jeans off so that they could get a pair of free Paige jeans. And if you watch this video, you will also see that at one point she lifts her top to suggest that the ultra low rise jeans that she is wearing are horrible but in the process ends up exposing her G string, creating a whaletail -- another fashionfaux-pas.
Even if you do not speak Spanish, head over to Univision or Telemundo television channels (pretty standard with most cable packages) and apart from all the stupid programs that they have during the course of the day, things really heat up in the evenings. Their so-called novelas (soap operas) are so steamy that all their fake characters are either kissing passionately or making love every moment that they can find. Everything about these highly dramatized plots looks as fake as Harlequin books.
So it was a great idea by Wilmer Valderrama, Rosario Dawson, Nick Zano, and Tony Plana to make a public service video (La Pasion de la Decision) about why you should register to vote for the presidential election. Funny but also has a powerful message and nothing like the idiotic comment from Hayden Panettiere.
