Jaime Pressly clothing line

We have all fallen in love with Jaime Pressly and not just for her looks. She is actually quite a good actress and that is why she got an Emmy. Like many other Hollywood celebrities that have launched clothing lines all the way from Paris Hilton to Amanda Bynes to Sarah Jessica Parker to Nicky Hilton, we now have the "J'aime Collection" from Jaime. The dresses are feminine, flirtatious, and colorful. I love them.

Versace and Dolce & Gabbana in Milan fashion show

Both Dolce & Gabbana and Versace are two fashion houses that know very well how to create those power suits for men. I am talking about those clothes that make a man exude confidence. While Donatella Versace may still design suits for powerful men, D&G take it one step farther by putting some punch into it too - watch some of their latest choices in this video clip for men's underwear. And do not forget to listen to the music. Both designers chose eclectic music for their show in Milan, Italy. Other designers who showed off their collections are George Chakra, John Galliano, Ungaro, Gucci, Valentino, Moschino, Prada and Armani.

Latest designs of George Chakra

The Lebanese fashion designer George Chakra reminds me so much of Ece Ege, a Turkish designer or even Elie Saab. He keeps himself, or should I say, the wealthy women in the Middle East, keep him busy by buying his exotic dresses. He was again at his best showing off his latest designs in Paris. Here is a video with a peek into the world of haute couture. Other videos are those of John Galliano, Ungaro, Gucci, Valentino, Moschino, Prada and Armani.

John Galliano latest fashion

John Galliano designs are always extravagant and flashy but Louis Vuitton is classically beautiful and maybe that is what they had in mind. Like Gucci which went back to the 50s Italy this year, designer Marc Jacobs also chose a retro flavor for his designs. Men's style icon Kanye West was one of the attendees and he was clearly impressed with the designs. Watch this video of the fashion show (other videos are for Ungaro, Valentino, Moschino, Prada and Armani).

Ungaro menswear collection

What are Steve McQueen and Marlon Brando doing in the world of men's fashion in 2007? They were the main inspiration for Ungaro designer Frank Boclet when he put together the summer 2008 menswear collection. In other words, goodbye metrosexual, hello macho. Watch the Paris catwalk video below (other fashion related videos include those of Gucci, Valentino, Moschino, Prada and Armani).

Gucci fifties Italty inspired fashion

The Milan Fashion Week has been a great show so far with designs from Prada, Armani, Valentino and Moschino. We now have the video of fashion designs from Gucci. And to everyone's surprise, Frida Giannini has come up with a collection that is inspired by Italy during the 1950s. Hey, I thought only the women
were interested in vintage
, but it looks like men's fashion too is embracing vintage. Watch the video below.

Valentino and Moschino designs from Milan fashion show

If you watched my pick of the Prada and Armani fashion video, let me add another video from the Milan fashion show. This time it includes Valentino and Moschino.

Of course you will watch Valentino himself talking about his designs for men and Bill Shapiro discusses his designs for the Moschino brand. One theme that I am clearly noticing in men's fashion is the bold attitude and creative use of colors.

Milano fashion week Prada and Armany styles

Last year when I reported on the Milano Fashion Week and the New York City Fashion Week, it seems like it was a different era. In just one year, men's fashion has changed so much. This year at the Milan fashion week, Prada and Armani exhibited their latest styles, and I must say I am impressed. My first reaction is that the outfits are far more casual and colorful, though the shades are clearly darker. Watch the video clip (without commentary) with the runway shots.
