Polyamorous men

If you are married or in a serious relationship and if you have not been tempted to cheat, you are either lying or you are God. I admire Lindsey Lohan for openly admitting that she is polyamorous. The reality is that we are all polyamorous (did you read about the guy who said that he is in love with two girls) -- that is how Nature wanted us to be and the French have seemed to accepted it -- that is what Carla Bruni did. Men have evolved to spread their seed to as many women as they can and women have evolved to find the best father for their children.

Unfortunately, if we had a free-for-all system and monogamy were to disappear, there will be a lot of chaos. Good men and women will be having all the fun while the losers will struggle to find someone even to talk to them. That is why the losers have become big supporters of marriage.

Watch this great video of an interview of Philip Weiss who spoke to Stephen Colbert regarding his research for the New York Magazine article, "The Affairs of Men."

Paul Wirth 30 Day Sex Challenge

A church in Florida (Relevant Church in Ybor City) appears to have found the answer to lower the 50% divorce rate among Christians in America.

So what is the solution?

More sex. Actually, while even Brazilians are not known to do it daily, pastor Paul Wirth has issued a 30-day sex challenge to married couples (apparently it does not matter if you are in a monogamous relationship for decades but are not legally married).

Christianity is known as a religion hostile to physical intimacy, (unlike Hindus, for instance, who came up with kamasutra) not just among gays and lesbians, but also among heterosexual couples. While the Protestants are somewhat more open minded, the Catholics are outright opposed to doing anything if it is not for the purpose of making babies. As the Relevant Church document points out, "For far too long the church has remained silent on the subject, leading many people to believe that God is against sex, which is completely counter to what the Bible teaches." I am sure that the Pope disagrees.

According to the church, "People are not having enough sex. An epidemic of breakups prove the needs that lead to a great sex life are being overlooked. Dirty dishes, frumpy clothes, and a lack of authentic connections are killing the romance. A great sex life is a challenge and takes focus, determination, and planning. Some say it’s an unrealistic goal, but we disagree. We believe you can have a great sex life, in fact we believe God wants you to have a great sex life."

This is new territory for Christians but this church has a pastor who would be a better host on MTV than in a church. He talks about what my wife is calling a sexathon with the ease with which he probably talks about baseball or gardening. "We know, it sounds crazy. However, we believe this challenge will not only improve sex lives, but also strengthen relationships. In this series married couples will review the obvious needs of him and uncover the forgotten needs of her and singles will cut through the illusions and consider the qualities that result in healthy relationships.

Feast Of Love movie review

Unarguably, Shakespeare was a master because hundreds of years later we are finding out that nothing has really changed. We still struggle with the same set of emotions and interactions among people are no different except that we now send text messages and have video chats. The movie "Feast Of Love," starring Selma Blair and Morgan Freeman is loosely based on "A Midsummer Night's Dream," and shows the ups and downs of human relationships in a small town. Watch the video below.

How to kiss video

We assume that somehow Nature will teach us how to kiss. Not right. You must learn how to kiss the right way, or otherwise, you will come across as a poor lover.

The Japanese, who are masters of making life easy for people, have put together a very helpful video of how kiss in different ways. Unfortunately, the voiceover is in Japanese only but the video is graphic enough to show you how to do it. And it is applicable not just with Japanese women but all women.

Britney Spears sings Boys

Many people argue that Britney Spears has not had much luck with men. She had her best relationship with Justin Timberlake but that did not work out and the consequences are there for all to see. I think by having two weddings (she is just 25), she was (stupidly enough) trying to prove to her (and maybe the tabloids) that she could find another man. And who did she get? Kevin Federline, who did not add anything to the relationship and instead became a liability.

So watch this beautiful video clip "Boys," in which Brit shares her thoughts on men.

This is my homage to a very talented artist and as part of that I have featured some of her finest music here:

I did it again

You drive me crazy

I am not a girl

Baby one more time

I hope to understand

Romantic video tribute to a woman from her husband

It is amazing how couples are using technology to communicate their feelings. A guy by the name of Joe Chow put this beautiful (old fashioned romance) video clip together using original music by Daniel Beddingfield, piano adaptation by Myleene Klass, and his own video footage. He says, ""I wanted to use this song to express how I feel for my future wife at the time....It was presented on our wedding day, using footage I took of her over the last 3 years."
