I have
emphasized that if you are
proud of being an American citizen then you should
register to vote and then actual cast your vote. To
be honest, there is absolutely no excuse for not voting
because our system provides so many options. For
instance, if you are busy or hate the idea of standing
in a line, just do the paperwork for absentee ballot and
cast your vote without ever leaving your house. Indeed,
you can do it all by mail. In my case, once I was taking
a trip during the mid-term elections, and I used the
option in which you can simply show up at your town hall
and do all the paperwork and even cast your vote at the
same time. The whole process took about 5 minutes.

is why there are so many campaigns to get out the vote
and you might recall the effort to
