Relaxation techniques for women
A complete relaxation program after a hard day's work

A display of zen inspired artwork perfect for your bathroom or anywhere you wish to relax.Women work extremely hard these days either because they have a career and a household to take care of or even if they stay at home, they have just too many responsibilities, particularly if they have kids. Therefore, women have to find unique ways to relax themselves when they are tired after a hard day's work.

Here is what the schedule can look like at least a couple of nights each week so that you will not only have time for yourself but for your partner as well.  We are recommending about two and a half hours relaxation routine but you can adjust it according to your schedule.

00:00 When you get home, drink a cool glass of water or a cup of chamomile tea.  Sit down, turn down the lights, and put some soothing relaxation music on.  If you like candles, consider an aromatherapy candle to calm and soothe your senses.
00:10 Use a cold eye mask which is very helpful in relaxing the muscles in the eye area, especially if you work with computers or in artificial light (these eye masks are available for only a few dollars).  (Related article:  How to avoid puffy eyes and dark circles?
00:25 Run a hot bath or and add one spoonful of bath salts.  You can also add Jo Malone grapefruit oil, the way Kate Beckinsale does.  Lie down in the tub with minimum movement.  Relax as long as you feel like and you can also bring your aromatherapy candle to the bathroom.  Of course, the relaxation music may also join you in the bathroom.  It is reported that Jennifer Lopez attributes her beauty to lots of long, hot baths.
00:40 It is now time to take a shower.  Use a loofah to gently rub your skin to get rid of dead cells.
01:10 Step out of the shower and dry yourself with a soft, cotton towel.  Take some time to gently apply body lotion.
01:30 Dress up in loose comfortable clothes.  Cotton is strongly recommended but silk is fine for special moments.  Stick with light colors, preferably blue or white.  Some women find pink also to be a color that helps them feel more feminine.
01:40 Light dinner is recommended, preferably a salad or a soup.  Drink a lot of water since you may have been dehydrated, particularly if you spent some time in the hot bath.
02:00 Sit down for a half hour or so to either read or just to listen to more relaxation music.  Avoid television but if you feel like watching, stick to non-stressful programs on HGTV, Food, or any other similar channels.
02:30 It is time to sleep with lights out.
