Should men wear lingerie?
Does it have to be feminine underwear?
It is still very controversial if
men should simply wear boxers and white undershirts in the bedroom or opt for something more exotic, in other words,
lingerie. The camp is divided. Many women are
appalled by the idea that men will even consider wearing something else. They suspect that any men who do so or even contemplate the idea are not "men."
No wonder that folks like Larry are terrorized. "I am a 21 year old male from Sydney and have been wearing
g-strings (as they are called over here!) secretly since I was about 15. My last long term girlfriend found out I wore them and I almost died, but she didn't mind and went on to buy them for me and even take me shopping for them!! My current girlfriend does not know but hopefully she will soon. I know people would think I'm
gay and I probably wouldn't mind not being obsessed with them but I've tried to stop wearing them and I can't. They are comfortable and taboo, both keeping me in them!!" he tells us.

Sally is one of those women who wouldn't like guys like Larry now. "I am one of these women who live in the Dark
Ages. I have been with my man for over a year now, and he told me, quite suddenly, about his secret wish about
lingerie 6 months ago. At first I accepted it, but once I had time to think, the doubts crept in. I still cannot accept it, and that is because I do not understand it. When he is wearing it, he acts more feminine than I am. I cannot deal with my
big strong man appearing feminine in women's
clothing, particularly when my lingerie has lost value for him. It is now all about him. We go shopping and it is always for him. I had to put a stop to it because
I am struggling, but at the same time I am aware that I am denying him of his greatest temptation. I just wish I could really accept it."

So it seems that Sally's man may have taken it too far but Larry is where most men need to be. Men can wear attractive lingerie designed for men rather than
wearing their wife's panties or even everything that a woman wears. Charlie, who always wears
thong panties and has the body to go with it, says, "I work very hard to keep myself in shape and attractive to females."
But the attitudes among women are changing. Tracy tell us, "You give your man the freedom to feel comfortable about his style and maybe even get to (enjoy) the results it gives. But you also will have a happier man when he is not feeling like (Oh my God, there's something wrong with me). Just because
he wants the same flattering styles and comforts we have (I had to wear my husband's
briefs while I was
pregnant; nothing else would stay on; I was so uncomfortable not just because I was
pregnant but men's standard briefs are restricting and the material may feel soft to your hands but when you wear them for a full day and the seams ride against the skin...OUCH ! It might look like a pouch when they have it on but the seams are miserable.) I think it is about time men were allowed some of the finer things in life and by all rights they should be allowed to have just as many choices as we females do. How many of us don't wear
jeans? They were not made for us to start with. The trend had to come from somewhere. So lighten up and have some fun. It's a blast to shop with a man who has taste and who cares about how he feels inside and out. I love the fact my very straight man is just as comfy as I am and I have never been sorry for it at all. I get just as much from it, if not more, than he does, and yes, even a bit of playful teasing can come into it as well. Never know when Mr. Happy will come to say hello!"

So men, wear what you want; and ladies, explore the new reality
as Michelle is doing with her husband Howard (who by the
way is no sissy - he is regular heterosexual who currently
works for the American military). He says, "I
thought that I had dome something so wrong when I noticed
that I like to wear panties. I have this urge and I feel
great to wear them. I first tried to fight it when I was
13 because I knew that everyone was going to see it as if
I were weird. I just like the feeling of wearing them and
now my wife shares her undergarments with me so that I
don't have to feel any guilt or embarrassment."
